Oliver is a composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist working in contemporary classical, jazz and pop/rock.
As a performer Oliver has worked internationally, including numerous tours to USA and Europe.
Performance highlights include appearances at Tokyo Opera City, Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, West Road Cambridge, La Cigale in Paris.
Oliver’s music has received airplay across the BBC - from Radio 1 to Radio 6 music. He has also recorded live sessions at BBC Maida Vale studios.
Oliver has written music for stage and screen. He has written short film scores, recently working with BAFTA award winning Agile Films.
On the stage, recent commissions include an overture and sound design for Arts Council funded ballet - ‘Parler Femme’- premiered at Northern Ballet in October 2023.
